Play, Not as a Game

How loose the tension
when play is retention
of that which might flow
an ocean of go

Yes might the please
Yes to the ease
All in the ought
All that hasn't fought

Presently, perfection demands
The serious commands
Taken and shaken
To never bite-slaken

A thirst is a curse
Always diving to worse
While thriving and joy
Are the mark of a toy

Played and discarded
Like leaves and their gardens
Eaten for fun
Leavened, rerun
