Activity eats plans and
fights inertia, until momentum
has its pinwheel in the wind --
generation is a matter of burn,
and that fire is a matter of motives,
forces, and propagation --
to make more, to progress,
to revise, to move forward
more, each has valence and cons --
as an ethical system, activity is
full sentences, all periods, no
room for the sickle question mark --
the active are the confident, guns
whose triggers were pulled far enough
back that nurture could not aim --
inactivity, stasis, decay; each is
a demand to short supply considerations
and wallow shallow, content.
