Beyond Self-Denial

Incompletion requires new
values. Current valences cry,
bond more! Continuity asks for
a core that accepts that it will
never be any hotter, any bigger,
any better than it was yesterday.

Let that middle out, though,
and a scourge of amplification
will shine upon the land. Don't
let me be done, nor allow following
by either period or to. Not to rage
against light death or heavy dark
is to be ready for tomorrow's 
whether or not, prepared to 
receive neither approval nor
violent eyes.
