With Speed

I have heard it said
the fast is the enemy
of the good; with so
much definitive, how
can a rapid pacing 
face down the lines
that sketch a better
way? No question 
mark marks the sure,
no exclamation points
to pointed, quiet eyes,
no comma commands
pause when the steady
carry stones.
