I wonder
when bread
goes for a walk
does it also talk?

A counter tomato
slowly turns jam
as the world 
assumes it was hit.

More than double 
the bacon
must block
an artery promised a fry.

The kitchen can't stop
the drain run
when lettuce
shreds the clog.
