Is that adventure or a
venture?
Whose risk is to be
stomached?
When will the whirl
become past tense?
That's the world question.
The adventure of meant mentor
but rather enmity.
It's an emotional bias,
a sunk ship,
costly enough
to become an economical
organ, deeper than a baritone,
more trumpeted than taps,
a sort of roman honor,
lower case, eponymous,
and not in any way
imperial.
