Poetry Exhaust

Poems are a waste product
of poetry, a non-compostable
refuse whose stochastic 
degradation may take a
minute or couple thousand
years. To write only comes
alive in the gerund, and 
beware the noun form
of writing. Verbs defy
passivity when they 
flow and flower only
as an opening, not as
bright color stilled life.
