One Day, by Typewriter

I searched for a laptop
according to keyboard
for the supple clicky clack
is flops more satisfying
than gigasuper silicon

It's the beginning of a quest
to scratch a few marks
by poetizing dint
to earn the struggle right
to a mechanical machine
whose write is typed
by key and ink and me

The pen and I
are not righty
we rightly fail
the during test
for distraction
and inaction
scrabble my scribbles
to leak illegible scratches
onto each personal page

So be with me,
not too simple tool,
I'd like that McLuhan revelation
where I go from medium
to an over-easy message
