Doubt is not a vine, it's a demon:
it creeps outside the house
and then breaks all the windows.

It acts too fast to become a
pandemic, usually; 
that nil incubation period
and total destruction
won't wait for its flight
or drive cross-country.

What is poetry?
Why is importance important?
How do verbs operate on living tissue?

Worth lives in the fingertips and lips;
status maneuvers happen at the atomic level
and none are decisions.
So importance is a reflex.

Poetry is
                 reflection.
                 mirrors.
                 moon.
                 refraction.
                 light.
                 darkness.
                 poems.
                 certitude.
                 devoid.
                 the void.
                 chagrin.
                 delight.

Poetry is what
and is is why and how.
