Stands for, sits on

Such a thousand books might vail 
Hounding vests and shoulder swale 
Walk the lands and say it's mine
Credential sticking straighter spine

Bouts of doubt they'll never come
Associate confessors hum
That the world is gone and here
All and nothing left to fear

Confidence you dirty dog
Sucking out the wettish bog
Green and slime and moldy feat
I'd rather gather rocky peaks
