Distractions

I put my back in the corner
so I can see what's coming 
and therefore not worry a bit

Thus there: an approach, leaving
the restroom,
a text message,
light coming onto the hot bench
two people looking through
the screens in front of them
directed at each other
and a conversation

All the while
my back is in the corner
so at least
all the new
enters the field
where I can see it
