Goals! Yet ye shall say thus, thou cart,
a body to play at the side of a stream
meticulously gathered, nut bun, baked,

explication, retrograde ‘ation,
insupportable joists cut from the trunks
of short trees

dual purpose: been or not to have been,
thusly, such questions reliably 
gusty, blowing off both feet from a 
provisional road,

choices, words, decisions,
falter by the light
of not quite sun
on the ever blighted place
where both feet are in my shoes.
