The front of the slice
hosts the tomato so nice
wetter and full, inconsistently
peppered, first that most cull

resistant to tepid
consciousness remained
a thing of the mind
a story and fiction

though you'll try to non
at the edge it lies
spreading the truth
failure denies

alleging long tooth
I think in idiom
obviously, of course,
made to be not to be

untranslatable remorse 
here though, we try,
to see what was heard,
a sense that denies
