good, bad, etc.; you've found
that thread that the Western Mind
worships: sin sin, ye evil Doers
we are cursed by apples and temptation
so revel and then shame, bevel your fame
make do with the magic of possible forever
bearing the boulder burden of a bite-filled life
hyphenate your name with Mephistopheles
to understand how you would live a dream
that must bring pain and sorrow awful
to all those who are nearby, as saints are myths
and devils hyperboles, whether you went to
hear the sermon or you're a Sunday Heathen
in the street, working playing hedonic tread
for the Biblical Nature abhors aberration
and in a universe of distinctions
all is abhorrent.
