while sturdy, growing
is how it is when it's still a tree

fuel it is called after splitting and dry
depending on who you ask
who took it out of the river
when it was purposefully floating

it was called it much of the time
but some saw the flowers
and the fruits: hearing the rhyme
of a whom thus addressed with human powers
