Green Room

In a middle room there is a mostly green rug
a green velvet couch
plants, green
a mallard, green head

there is a little green between the chrysanthemums
in an otherwise blue and bright painting
some of the countries on the upside down globe
are almost green

the rosemary tree
between the fiery hand
is as you know
green at the edges

while the plant in the bookshelf
to hide the lack of books
is definitively 
green.
