Rather than resisting
the world as is
anti this and that 
better ends, mean
missions and purposes
say to hell: all but the word

no, instruments not
a double rejection
cancel out?
erasure won't do
what the heart beats at
it's more than blood
and pressure

and all that is directed
each accident
is not animated
nor an image
it's a milieu
a cascade

water giving bridges life
lucid dreams remain 
in a realm beyond knowledge
as the stars become day
and the light reveals less than the dark.
