on the edge
a side dish
the periphery
as they say
in foreign policy squares
where the landscape is
as the power does

but i got off of that side
and so should you
for there is only one side
in geopolitical conflict
and it's a wrong one

but this was about, originally,
the things one does next the things one does
as you would have known
if this were a conversation
and that's what i mean:

is the main thing
going to make it through
with all these distractions
or are we on the point
when we're peripheral
