a picture, ahead and behind

can i take a photograph
of that which is in front
of me as well as my face?
i would like to share:
this is where i am,
what i see, without
you next to me, 
although that would
be preferable, and i
do not have a mirror to
hand; without these 
technologies of presence
and reflection, perhaps
you will feel what i feel
in the medium of words
and thereupon see
what i see
