Caterwauling, shining flashlights on 
Passers by; degenerates, all of you

Could but these dictionary pythons 
Definite expressions of piety to form 
Become better enamored with the name 
of all that goes without nomenclature 
The title of the sand underfoot 
and the individual grain lost to the sea 

But it's not in their nature 
For snakes to take a bite 
Rather than swallowing whole
