Our Way of Nature

A streak in the sky
The life in the moss
North star or tree
Aside you'll be tossed

Forget thee not, thy
Portents of bread
Consumed, forgot
The threats and the tread

A forest for breeze
Treetops of our sin
Are we like plants
Or air on the wind?

Generous figments
Imagined to bend
Flexible diamonds
Cutting for rent

If here we stay
Then dawn will dusk
Hurtling space
A fawn, your musk
