The barbed wire and give it the
Power to choose what it becomes
The squirrels will decide for them
Selves while the trees will fall and
Become houses for whoever can
Pay the mortgage on the decay:
A compound interest of ants and
Mushrooms, given what they need
By forces neither benign nor evil
Acting on impulse to do nothing
In particular for no discernible reason
