Solid Ground

Why does it feel more comfortable
To grind coffee beans further to dust
Than necessary for my method of 
Preparation? For the same reason 
That I'm looking for those sweet
Simple answers to life's long questions;
The in between licks one's feet with
Uncomfortable uncertainty and the
Sandpaper tongue of a thirsty cat.
