When It’s Real Broke, Don’t Fix It

Ever met a problem that had every solution
Presented and rejected, total conclusion?
For me, that was an environment as 
Clear as the water, schools of fish
Herds of draft horses, landscapes
Scattered with purpose but reeking
Of idolatry. I came back and back
And back once again, and tried 
A few more times after all that,
And finally, the failure was 
Verified by the skeptical 
Auditor, and when the
Report landed on my
Desk, I walked away
And never came back.
