Physical Thought

When I remember that my thoughts are happening
In reality, physical componentry electric something
Makes body-mind distinctions Cartesian nonsense

For the soul is a notion, also alive, in the real,
Temporarily living stuff; the idea to fear death
Is alive until the last, never erased, but possibly
Outranked by other notions of neural acceptance

Throwing around brain terms with the heft that
Acknowledges the physical nature of language
And the failure of the thought-space separation
