hammering away at the logs that might roll up into houses
can this be said to have any affinity with the notion of
creating? art as a wedge to make issues fall down
cannot be itself, as it must be a tool rather than a
statue, a paintbrush is made every time a canvas
tries to get something done. words are not art.
paint is not art. or maybe they are. but not when
their intention is to become something else.
art has become what it is and will be, at the point of the
pen, and it does not demand a further reckoning from
a world that demands a further reckoning from everything
else. so take your missions and shove them into the gas
tank, your goals and burn them to warm your hands.
take not art from its purposelessness, even though captivity
changes the wolf, literature analysts subject their victims to
unspeakable you know what, and museums claim reasons.
