It's inevitable that identities will form
across groups of people
that tend to pit groups against each
other. 
Suppose
you're in the position
of getting people
to do things
in a direction
mostly together;
things will become simpler
(if you're in certain countries
with youth sports programs)
if you get your people together
help them feel that other people
the people of some other group
are the enemy
the negative focal point
a reversal of your values
you fire up people
with such a method
an active voice
for unity!
and victory!
it's quite a pragmatic approach
if you cannot be bothered
to pay attention to people
and encourage other people to
pay attention to each other.
Enmity works.
Or get it together
the hard way.
