The Squeeze

Social life is an inescapable necessity
But its consequences are everywhere too
A long face, a short time, a space not big enough for you
Expectations mountains
Loom over a horizon stormy
Abundant additional fountains
Rooms for people, conform me
I'll flexibility, verbs that are not quite verbs
Adaptations to other dictionaries
Infernos of memos and blurbs
If it's short, the pressure's light
Unless the intensity's great
And it all comes back to the air of the expected
Filling the tubes with gas
And I crawl through, holding my breath
Only breathing to live through this pass
Bloodstream is thick and I seek to a freshness
But it's all the same, these people, these thoughts
Social life is a sometimes escapable necessity
And its consequences are everywhere new
