Planning

Eisenhauer didn't like the outcome
Or at least the piece of paper
I think he was right
That even a great plan
Is worth nothing
Less than the ink it was sketched with
And yet the planning

Establish expectations perhapses
Tear them down and consider others
And architect as if one had a hammer and nails in hand
The imagining process
It is the father of all disappointment
The vehicle in which one must ride
To see the possibility of moving forward
For if one's mind is closed to the scheme
There can be no reality
It's as Dr. Strangelove said:
"It can be done, Mr. President."
