Long Afternoon Naps

When I've neglected to sleep
A full eight hours deep
By early post-noon
I'm lying festooned
Covered in spiders
Or ants, arm-hair riders
I slip into dreams
On sheet's bursting seams
Hours I'll snuggle
Without any struggle
Inviting the geese
On top of my fleece
A blanket aloft
Rekindled sleep waft
A daylight photo-synth
Absorbing sun plinth
Margarita recovery
As blank-brain discovery
