The Napping Way

Sleep is on a power trip
Here I am and I submit
For I am unworthy of body's store
Unless I kneel and pray to snore
Under stars or sun or sky
Down on the ground I'll ready lie
Tied up in hammock or curled in bed
Couches long or short be sped
Onto drooling dreamy simper
Without even groaning whimper
Rest below above beyond
Framing up a healthy pond
For where I go and whence things are
I wish upon the napping star
Lay beside beneath between
Prep o' zishun may I lean
Alarm me not as I'm just here
Snoozing softly living gear
