Frosty the Skiman

Perhaps thinking of my task
As a more jolly hasp
Unlocked with a bit of childish glee
The tune is the key
To sending morning me
Into the snow on skis

In spite of the chill
Frostline hatted I will
Conquer the day
And with gratitude play
In elysian fields of ice

Warmer days call
Thermostat palls
Shivering in bed with coffee

Priority list
Says move the body
So bundle I shall
Trundled in wool

Boot up
Glide out
A more pleasant person
Will glide back in

So perhaps now I'm convinced
To lay this poem aside
Enter the freeze astride
Skis just right for lakes
